6. Choose your location. Your location will refine the language used (in other words, U.S.
English might be different from Canadian English), and will also be used to set the current
time. If the time shown is incorrect for your location, you can click the Set Time button
to display a dialog box that enables you to correctly specify the local time. To accept
the selected values and proceed to the next screen, click Forward. You are asked to enter
your keyboard layout.
7. Select your keyboard type. To accept the selected value and proceed to the next screen,
click Forward.
8. Provide information about a user account that you want to create on this system. This
account will have administrative privileges, so you should create your own account at this
point. Enter your full name (for example, John Smith), a username (for example, jsmith)
that you will use to log in as this user, a password (twice) for the new user, and a name
for this computer (which can be anything). To accept the selected values and proceed to
the next screen, click Forward.
You are asked to begin partitioning your hard disk.
Changing or removing existing disk partitions can result in data being lost. Consider
your options carefully before selecting a partitioning method.
