Many of these companies choose to show
the Inc. 500 logo on their site.
Reviews are a bit different. Chances are the review cannot be republished in full, but the
publication might very well have usage guidelines in place??”for instance, whether a link
back to the original review is required, the word count allowed for excerpts, whether a
logo of the publication is allowed (or required) to supplement the review, and much more.
As a general rule of thumb, avoid republishing reviews in full whether these guidelines
exist or not.

Designing the third-party validation
Acquiring the content for customer stories, press releases, award displays, and more is
only half the battle. There is still the matter of figuring delivery methods, including
implementing the content in the corporate website. For some of this material, the design
options are either obvious or limited, such as the display of media distinctions and reviews.
For other material, where the company is responsible for creating the content, such as
case studies, the design is only limited by the parameters of the site as a whole.
This part of the chapter will cover the different ways of celebrating your customer success
and design solutions for several key pieces of content.
