This is accomplished
with an alternate CSS file, activated through a style sheet switcher, which takes
your existing HTML and bumps the type size, eliminates frivolous material like
sidebar links, and adopts dramatic color contrast, as shown in Figure 3-2. A
zoom layout provides a comfortable reading experience for those whose visual
impairment does not tolerate normal web layouts.

Using more than color to signify information
Imagine if every color at a stoplight were the same. Now imagine if every link on a web
page were the same color as the text, without an underline, even when rolled over. In both
cases, the lack of differentiation makes for a usability nightmare. Different types of color
blindness can make certain color combinations indistinguishable; for instance, if the text is
black or green, plain red links might go completely unnoticed.
