      . This allows the document
to become transient. It can be read and understood by almost any user agent, and can
have different style sheets applied without changing the actual code. (For instance, a web
designer could provide a high-contrast version for those with low vision in addition to the
      default design.)
      Color considerations
Because the Web is a medium that relies heavily on visual display, those with visual disabilities
are the ones most likely to be affected by poor, inaccessible design choices.
Accommodating the blind, color blind, or visually impaired takes a minute amount of
      design compromise.
      Contrast
Even in the flashiest, most image-laden websites, the majority of the content is delivered
in plain old text, from the first navigation bar, to the core content, to the copyright information
in the footer. It is critical that this content be readable. The first priority is ensuring
that there is sufficient contrast between the background color and the text.
This is a difficult thing to measure by just looking at a monitor.
