21.15 Procurement
Specify the standards required for control of all purchased or subcontracted goods or services. These
standards must include provisions for:

??? Subcontractor control
Identify all subcontractors involved in the project, along with any special control provisions (such as a
subcontract quality plan).
8.21.16 Tools
List the items used to support the project. Proprietary tools must be subject to procurement controls.
8.21.16.1 Archive Control
Define the methods and facilities used to maintain and store controlled versions of items. State the
methods and facilities to be used to protect computer program media from unauthorized access, inadvertent
damage, or degradation.
8.21.16.2 Records Collection, Maintenance, and Retention
Identify the documentation to be retained, together with the methods and facilities to be used to assemble,
safeguard, and enhance this documentation, and shall specify the retention period.
8.21.17 Installation
Control the installation, commissioning or any other work on a client??™s site by standards or other means
listed here. Refer to any external standards dictating working practices on client premises.
8.21.18 Acceptance
Specify the arrangements for client acceptance of the project deliverables. Describe all quality control
activities directly supporting customer handover and any client requirements for certification or delivery
paperwork.
