8.19.2 Updating the Spreadsheets Thereafter
1. As tests are run the changed test sheets in Test lab can overwrite the existing ones. When all of
them are updated with the preceding day??™s results, use Edit > Links on the main spreadsheet to
open all the test results sheets and update the main spreadsheet.

2. Select all the linked documents and press the Open source button.
3. If any of the links are rusty use the Change source button to change them.
4. Go to the
tab and update the data by right-clicking on the pivot table and using
the Refresh Data command.
5. At this point all the charts will be updated and a brief overview prepared.

The choice of amount and types of software documentation depends on:

Suggestions:
??? Don??™t duplicate information between the documents in the test documentation set. Define the
common attributes of any group of specifications at the highest possible level.
