"Manage Software Testing"

See section 5.5.1.
??? The browser test covers all the .html code, the spelling, graphics, plug-ins, client-side scripts,
applets, components, and compatibility issues which browsers throw up. The baseline of this test
will be the .html, any client-side scripts, and the sets of browsers and operating systems which
the site supports. Wise companies will also have a series of card mockups used by graphic designers
both to satisfy clients and interact with human factors??™ experts. See section 5.5.2.

??? The web server test tests the ability of the web server scripts to respond sufficiently to the browser
and pass on requests to application objects. The baseline of the test is the set of server side scripts
which pass requests to the rest of the system. See section 5.5.3.
??? The application tests covers the application objects and their relations with the database(s) and
the legacy applications. The baseline of the test is the set of application specifications and interface
definitions. See Chapter 8.
??? The banking application will usually be tested in relation to a special banking application test
suite maintained by the bank providing the application.
