"The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS): Session Control and Other Network Operations"

If there is no data stored on the GGSN, then the AVP is ignored. This AVP allows
for additional data about a session to be sent, or have that stored data replaced with
new session data. There are two values for this parameter:
?–  0 = Append
?–  1 = Overwrite
PS-free-format-data This parameter provides session data specific to an online
charging.
PS-furnish-charging-information When CDRs are being generated for prepaid service
(concurrent with online charging), the session information that is needed for those
CDRs is provided within the AVP. This information is usually found in a CCA message
and sent via the Ro interface (online charging). However, it can also be sent transparently
over the Rf interface if online charging and CDR generation are running in parallel.
This AVP is a grouping of the following AVPs:
?–  GPRS-charging-ID
?–  PS-free-format-data
?–  PS-append-free-format-data
194 Chapter 7
Quota-holding-time If a quota (for time or octets) has been granted, and transmission
stops, then the device begins a timer. The timer signifies the end of traffic, so that ???dead air???
is not charged against the balance of the account. The holding time is the amount of time
that the device is to hold before it makes the assumption that the quota has expired.
Reporting-reason This parameter identifies why reporting has occurred, based on
the reasons provided.
