"The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS): Session Control and Other Network Operations"

The identification
of the origination and the terminating operators are exchanged in the SIP signaling,
and extracted from SIP for inclusion in this parameter. The parameter consists of
two values:
?–  Originating inter-operator identifier (IOI)
?–  Terminating inter-operator identifier (IOI)
Mime-type When user-to-user data is being exchanged within the SIP message body
and is in the MIME format, this parameter identifies the MIME type used for the
data.
Online and Offline Charging in the IMS 193
Node-functionality This AVP is used to identify the function of the node that generated
a cause code. Each IMS node type is identified by a specific number as follows:
?–  0 = S-CSCF
?–  1 = P-CSCF
?–  2 = I-CSCF
?–  3 = Media Resource Function Controller (MRFC)
?–  4 = Media Gateway Controller Function (MGCF)
?–  5 = Border Gateway Control Function (BGCF)
?–  6 = Application server (AS)
?–  7 = User equipment (UE)
Originating-IOI The originating inter-operator identifier in this parameter is created
by the S-CSCF in the home network of the subscriber who originated the session.
Outgoing-trunk-group-ID This parameter identifies the trunk group in the PSTN
for the outgoing portion of the associated call.
PS-append-free-format-data This AVP is used to indicate to the GGSN whether or
not it needs to ???append??? or overwrite stored data from a previous PS-free-format-data
AVP.
