10 Device-Watchdog-Answer (DWA) Message Content
Online and Offline Charging in the IMS 187
and additional AVPs defined specifically for the use in an IMS domain. Some AVPs are
specific to offline charging, while others are specific to online charging.
The previous sections defined the DIAMETER messages specific to online and offline
charging respectively. This section defines the AVPs used within those messages
for both online and offline (as indicated). All AVPs are provided in alphabetical order
for ease of searching, but Table 7.11 identifies the AVPs and how they are used. One
additional note: an AVP is really a parameter within one of the DIAMETER messages,
so you will see this terminology used interchangeably with AVP.
